Apple, Raspberry, and Pumpkin Picking

Howdy Y’all! Well, this past weekend I had the opportunity to go to an Apple Orchard with my roommate Megan and my friend Kitty.  I’ve always wanted to go apple picking, so I am glad I finally go the chance to! My sister, mom, and I use to go blueberry picking back in East Texas. This reminded me tremendously of that.  While the cost of the produce wasn’t the best (it was sorta pricey) the event was very fun!
With all the colors in Minnesota changing to fall, it made for a very beautiful Saturday morning drive.  We just don’t experience falls like that in Texas.  At the Afton Apple Farm, they also had raspberries and pumpkins you could pick as well. The raspberries were rather good. If I knew how to make jam, I would have made raspberry jam with them!
After apple picking, we went and ate at Panera Bread.  It was actually pretty difficult to find parking for Panera, but what can you expect from a downtown restaurant!
