2016 Holiday Look Book

Howdy! Wow, can y’all believe Christmas is literally right around the corner? This has been a whirlwind of a semester at college, to say the least. Thank heavens I am finally on break! Here in Texas, the temperature is finally starting to drop! While I am a hot temperature lover at heart, nothing screams holiday season like Jack Frost nipping at your nose and cute sweaters, of course! 

Speaking of cute sweaters, I am going to show y’all three outfits I’ve been wearing a lot recently and hopefully they may inspire some cute holiday outfits of your own! 

This outfit has seriously been perfect for pretty much every winter activity. The warm (and adorable) penguin sweater is so comfy and easy to throw on with a pair of jeans.  I partnered this look up with a black choker, some simple faux diamond jewelry, and some black combat boots that keep my feet extra warm. Oh, and let’s not forget my Starbucks cup that actually had no drink in it during this photo shoot. But honestly, I love Starbucks’s new holiday drinks and their holiday cups! What’s y’all’s favorite drink to order there?

What’s Christmas without Christmas parties? As the end of the year approaches and the festivities draw closer, everyone starts throwing some sort of Christmas party. I personally wore this to several events. I found this dress online for 7 dollars on Black Friday and I am in love with it.  It’s so comfy. Of course, it’s maroon because what other color would a red-ass Aggie buy?  I also like that I can either dress it more casually with my saddle shoes or make it a bit more formal with heeled booties. And can we talk about the necklace? Only 3 dollars at Walmart! Yes, Walmart! Since when did they start selling cute items?? I love the fact that it looks like a geode. It’s got me wondering if I could DIY one similar.

Who else is ready binge watch Christmas movies? My personal favorite is Christmas with the Kranks. I love chilling in my pajamas, with a nice hot cocoa (or tea in this case), popcorn, and watch a movie, flannels are by far the comfiest pajamas. I’ll sue anyone who says otherwise (Only kidding!). Target has these adorable Christmas pattern pj’s for only 15 dollars! I, of course, love my foxes and am dawning my fox eye mask I got at the Mall of America back in the Ol’ Minnesota days.
