Is it just me, or does anyone else get bothered by electric cords that have no order? They stress me out to no end! Honestly, my apartment has to be perfectly neat, or I can’t function (my car’s back seat is another story…). With that being said, after I got my WiFi all hooked up, the cords just hanging out in my living room was quite an eyesore! So I DIYed a way to not only hide the router and modem but also share my WiFi Password with guests! Did I mentioned this only cost me 50 Cents. Y’all I love Scrap Denton, I can get all my craft supplies for cheap. I totally recommend checking your local thrift shop for supplies! If you want to make a similar DIY Wifi Password box check out how below!
Materials Needed:
Large Wooden Box
White Paint
Rope
Faux Grass
Sticker Letters
1.) To begin, paint your box white all over. This took me roughly 3 coats.
2.) Finally, using your stickers, put your wifi password onto the front of the box. I did not come up with this password, but to be honest I’m too lazy to change it.
3.) Next, begin wrapping the bottom of the box with the rope until roughly 1/3rd of the box is wrapped.
4.) Take your faux grass and hot glue it into the rope to make it look like its been growing from the rope itself.
Now place your modem and router into the box and wha-la! Your wires are hidden by your DIY Wifi Password box and your friends don’t have to keep asking for the WiFi password. Let me know if you make this in the comments! Also, let the record stand that my wifi password is just the password that was given to me. I never reset it.
